BBQ Kings/Queens - Advice Please :)

Following a number or recent tragedies involving charcoal BBQ's and tents being in the news, I have decided to get a portable gas BBQ for my annual silverstone pilgrimage.

So now £160 lighter I am the proud owner of a Weber Q120. However I'm looking or some advice from any BBQ kings or queens out there.

The litterateur on my new toy mentions a number of different cooking techniques to use (something about direct and indirect?) also it talks about cooking full birds and joints of meat on the grill...

Im well out my depth as I normally stretch as far as a burger and maybe a steak... Any good recipes or ideas? Thanks!

BBQs I remember them when we used to have sunshine :D

Are gas BBQs really any safer in and around tents?

Sausages. When they're brown they are doing. When they're black they are done. :)
