SoCal guys, you don't want to miss this one!
http://www.carsandcoffee.info/roadtrip/

I don't know if I'm doing the C&C part, but I'm going to BBI. I was just there today for the first time and this seems to be a really great shop!

When you go to the link, there is this little message at the bottom of the page.

Date: Saturday July 26th
Surf & Turf Cruise: Begins at 9:00am after the Irvine show. Free Barbecue courtesy of DubzDirect.com.
RSVP: CLOSED. We apologize but this event has reached capacity and we are no longer accepting RSVP's. Please register early for our next Cars and Coffee™ Roadtrip.

Or do we need not to pay attention to that? We just tell them we are with you!

-So many polite people :headbang: I asked if Betim (BBI owner) wanted me to post about the BBQ, he said yes. The more the merrier. I can't speak for the C&C organizers.

You bet, free food. I will not get tired of you Ian, that other guy could be a different issue someday.

Not really, just blowing smoke. You both are good people. I just can't wait to dog your tail pipes on some twistys ----( in loud big announcer voice ) SUNDAY :!:

That's a really cool sig my man  Did it yourself right?

I have pics, but I'm slammed this week with guests from out of town. So I probably won't have them up until after the weekend.

My pics.

I got there a little early. Many more cars showed up over the next hour:

I chose to park with the Cobras, rather than with the P cars:

One particularly pretty Cobra rep:

A GT-R showed up. A better-looking "ugly" car in person. VERY large. This paint color (don't know the name) is reminiscent of the E39 wheels' shadow chrome:

Some more BMWs:

A very cool old Mini with a Honda V-Tech motor and good suspension work:

A Vette-based kit car:

Mad Dog and Ian's Z3 MCs:

An old Porsche Spider (or replica?):

Also at the show was Eric from Carbon Smith. As some of you already know, they worked with BMS in building the CF roof that I have on my Z4 M Coupe. Two days before the BBI show Eric dropped off this trunklid for the 911. This first part is a TEST FIT ONLY, but it looks so good that BBI had two offers on it in just two days. It bolted on with no fitment issues in just 10 minutes. It uses full weave for the underside instead of shot-fiber and is amazingly strong.
