Battery to engine compartment route

Hi all. Does anyone know which side of the car the positive wire from the battery to the engine compartment runs? The reason I ask is that I want to run an RCA patch wire from the head unit to the boot and don't want to run it along side the positive wire in case I pick up noise from it.

If its easier to run with the positive cable get a shielded RCA lead,
I've run them together without problems

Pos goes across the back of the car above fuel tank and runs down the nearside along with the brake lines, up into the engine bay.
