Battery Time

Re-visiting this thread.
I want to replace my 6.5 year old battery as i am sure i'm killing the battery by only making
only short infrequent journeys. Also the stop/start off light keeps coming on and although serviced 4 weeks ago
The red triangle bongs every start up, both battery related i guess.

However, i just noticed i have a 80AH rated battery, i thought a 70AH was standard ? (See picture on page one)

Advise please :wink:
 
Both 70ah and 80ah were fitted..

In general...35i/35is and/or stop start and/or auto boxes were amongst many reasons why the 80ah was fitted..

Wasn’t the stop start on all cars from 2009 except the 35 models...? I’m most probably wrong, just what I thought.

The 23i & 30i never had it, nor did the earlier 20i cars with auto transmission :?
