Battery terminal corrosion

Hi everyone,
Just thought i would share with everyone to get thoughts and maybe warn others to check if you havent already, that whilst cleaning the boot of the car i decided to check the battery to see if everything was how it should be. Whilst looking at the battery I noticed the battery terminals were corroded with the terminal post suffering from some positive pilliar corrosion and the terminal ring had alot of corrosion and verdigris present aswell. Took a while to clean but got there and will just have to keep an eye on things.

Good old fresh air I'd say.

Smear some vaseline over the whole thing once you've cleaned it to seal it from air/moisture. Lasts a lot longer.
