Battery recommendations please...

I've noticed the past few week I'd get a random bulb error on the dash eventhough there was no bulb out... The error would then go away and randomly come back on a few hours later.
Yesterday I went to start the car after putting the roof down and it really struggled, once I got home, turned the car off all seemed fine until I tried to turn it back on.... Dead!
Checked the battery and the life indicator was black, it's been on trickle charge over night and it does start now but the stereo and nav is intermittent to whether it works so I'm thinking my battery is on a one way trip to death.

I've been looking at batteries but I haven't a clue what I need, my current one say it's 80AH but I can't find a battery at that rating.

I need as powerful a battery as possible I think with me having all the gadgets possible in the car aswel as the addition of air ride... So anyone in the know what would you recommend?

My current battery

Thankyou

I'm thinking one of these....

Not overly clued up on batteries Gav but think you can better those numbers for less £
Used these a while back , great service over phone & delivered next day for less than any local suppliers could match

Ahh I like the sound of that battery, cheers, it was the lifetime part that drew me into that black one

Have a scroll through & compare numbers , match or better your current AH & CCA (cold cranking amps) & you should be fine
Or ring them

That behemoth battery one is dimensionally too big. Gutted would have been ideal

Think I replaced mine before I sold it with one of these

Reserved a Bosch s5 at eurocar parts for £98.59 with a discount code, hopefully it'll do the job.
I have no idea how old the current battery is on my car, but it's never let me down in 3 years so hopefully the Bosch one will do a decent job too.

I got one of the good tanya ones for my Z fixed all the electrical gremlins

Can't say owt on the longevity as my car was written off 2 months later but came with a long warranty

When I bought a battery from ECP on line for a previous car,the guy who delivered it said I could have had it for less if I had phoned the local branch.Maybe worth a try.

Cheers I'll be going down to get it anyway so it'll be worth an ask, I suspect that because I've used a discount code already there will be no added movement on price

Bosch, varta or banner

Don't bother with anything else for a BMW..

Euro have always been a bit expensive for batteries, but if it's close and in stock them it saves messing

Iirc varta are about £60 for your size, AGM for the M series about £100

Gav you should try CARPARTS4LESS its the same company as Eurocarparts but generally cheaper

The battery I have just bought is slightly shorter than the BMW one... What have people done to stop the fucker wanting to move? The mounts on the car don't grab it

Its not the right battery then..

It has the same dimensions as all the ones that it says are for the car

The BMW battery was 310mm long the new battery is 278mm. I can't see any bigger options either
