I've just got back from foreign climes, and after 5 weeks of no use, it appears I have a Z4 shaped brick sat on the drive. No remote locking, no power in the cabin, no starter motor - completely dark and cold. I can manually unlock the door, which doesn't set the alarm off (as I thought it should, if it's been remotely locked), but that's about as far as it goes. From the forum's vast experience, are there any 'quick fixes' for this - will a set of jump leads under the bonnet be able to sort this, or will I require a new battery or is it something all together more sinister? I haven't had a proper poke around yet as it's dark and I need some sleep, however I am hoping that your combined knowledge will be able to save me some faffing around in the morning...
