Battery issues

I've had my 3.0 Si for about a month ago (it's a 2007 model).

Has anyone experienced issues with flat batteries? I put the first time down to the fact that the car had probably been sitting on a dealer forecourt for a month or so, but it is has now happened twice more (needing BMW assistance to come out on one occasion). The last time was yesterday afternoon - I've had the battery on slow charge overnight and I'm sure it will be OK for now, but the car had only been sitting in the garage for a few days (my Clio V6, with an equally large engine to crank over could be left for weeks at a time with no problems). Just wondered if anyone else had had similar issues?

What does the battery indicator say?

Do you have any aftermakret stuff installed e.g. alarms, trackers

Either the battery is knackered or something is continuosly drawing power!

Well there is nothing unusual installed on the car. Battery condition seems to flick between green and black which is suggesting a knackered battery - just wondered if anyone else had had similar problems before I goto the dealer.
