So I have the choice between these two

The non AGM has a higher CCA and Ah, so what exactly is the benefit of the AGM???

AGM can put up with rapid deep discharge and fast charge cycles, self-discharges more slowly and performs better in cold weather so is useful on stop-start equipped cars particularly in cold weather city driving with a load of other electrics running. No real point on your car though. You can't go wrong with a Bosche S3 or S4

Paid £150 for new oem AGM from bmw
As they misdiagnosed my alternator of which I then replaced and found after it being refurbed that it as just regulator
So tested and oem part selling that as garage is a joke with car parts haha

New battery was tested at 12.6v, now fitted & will test again after a few days not moving - hoping I don't find a puddle of electricity on the garage floor

Need to order a vent tube connector as doesn't appear to be there, and the previous AGM battery didn't have a vent.

Dear lord

They call it progress!
The battery in a previous Z4 and sold to a pal is now 13years old and still functioning well - now there's the kiss of death.
