Battery changed and roof doesn't work. Any Essex coders?

The roof should not attempt to open at speed, you have a problem with it somewhere! It's a safety feature to stop it from getting damaged.

Yes I know. I have tried it in the past whilst driving it and it never worked, which was the correct behaviour.

I will try it tomorrow when I take the Z out if the roof works whilst driving the car.

What part of Essex are you in, any where near Colchester ? I live on the coast but would be happy to meet you one weekend to try and help.

I've had a few issues with my roof but fingers x'ed all is good now.

I tried the roof on the weekend and it worked as normal...fine from the fob and the buttons inside the car, and didn't work whilst driving the car.

I fit the Gaptech module on the weekend, and it works fine with this now. :driving:

@PKZ4 -Thank you very much for your offer, I really appreciate it. Seems like all is fine now though. I can only imagine that the roof module 'turned off' when the battery was low, and it took a while for it to come back to life (very technical explanation, I know!)
