Hi all,
Oct/Nov last year, battery was constantly going flat, fitted a new one (Bosche Silver from Halfords).
All fine so far, until over the last fortnight has been flat 4 times - not even turning over, lights just flash and nothing happens.
A friend of a friend (works for the AA), suggests without seeing the car that if it's a new battery, then it's the altenator or a trickle drain from something. Nothing is draining the battery (no lights stuck on/iPod charging etc), so could the altenator be causing a problem?
I only drive the car 3ish times a week, mostly the weekend to GF's/parents and rarely more than 100 miles a week at most.
Could the low mileage really be causing this? :?
Appreciate your thoughts,
Si
