Battery age code

I feel like I might be the dumbest person but looking at my battery and can’t work out which numbers represent the code for working out how old my battery is. I have Googled and one image I found showed a number etched into the actual plastic rather than it being on a sticker. I can’t see that on mine so although I have accessed the Bosch table which would provide the decode I’m still stuck. Can anyone point me in the right direction?

I couldn’t find it on mine either, luckily I found the receipt from a previous owner. Why don’t they make it easier?

For Bosch batteries there is a seemingly unnecessarily complicated (!) translation code based on the battery serial number. So first need to be able to locate serial number and then to find the rules for which positions are of interest.

Gonna need Googling - busy at work at the mo' otherwise would assist with the search!

Need to locate the serial number on top edge somewhere and look at the 4th, 5th and 6th digits. Note that this is only for Bosch and Varta batteries.

I bought a new battery earlier this year and shortly after car purchase purely as preventative maintenance. Went for a Bosch 95Ah battery (which turns out to be same height and width as standard but too long to fit the battery clamp at the bottom  ) - has code 440 which is April 2024, so all good.

New Bosch battery from autodoc.co.uk £159 turns out to be identical to my existing one and I’m still not seeing the code on it to decider the age 🤣🤣. All installed and coded now and apparently there was no record of a replacement battery having been fitted since the car was new. Would a 2011 car have come with a regular Bosch battery or would it have been BMW branded in some way?
