Morning folks, the battery in the zed is now ten years old (!) and she’s getting a bit sluggish to start in the mornings now.
The battery in the car is original BMW 570A, 70Ah.
I can’t find a direct replacement from Bosch, Exide, any of the big brands on these numbers. Bosch website mentions something about recoding the car to take different A or and Ah ratings. I didn’t think the E85/E86 had the fancy battery jiggerypokery?
Thoughts? Can I just put any decent battery of the right type in and not worry about the capacity and current numbers?
