Sooo, like I said. Wolverine would totally destroy Batman. Something like this.

What I never get is, Wolverine has hard claw things, but that doesn't mean he wouldn't need tonnes, literally, of force, to chop through the stuff he often does.

Ie, it's more likely when he swiped Batman that he would push him away than pierce the armour, which currently stops bullets with more kinetic energy!

Batman would probably just run Wolverine over in his car... brrmmmmm :driving:

Bullets are made of lead. Wolverine's clas are made of admantium (the toughest -ish in the comic world.) More than likely Wolverine would just shread the underside of that POS car that Batman has. Then he would need his metrosexual sidekick Robin to bail him out.

Nice one

...although I was envisioning Wolverine to have a cigar in his mouth and a beer in his hand whilst ripping Batman to shreds.

I do like the separated eyeball.

Yes, but the car adamantium interface will generate some transfer of momentum, and, basically, Wolverine can't generate that much energy with his mass and the velocities he can build. The materials may be tough enough, if they were going at 50mph on a 1 tonne railed dolly, but they are on a ~ 100kg man moving maybe 20mph TOPS, and then maybe on an arm moving 50mph and weighing 5kg tops...

Ie, a steel knife will cut lead, but to cut through it you sit there chopping for a fair while by hand. If you ran at a lead statue and tried to slash it open in a glancing pass, you'd need to be going about 200mph with a 1kg knife to have any chance of slashing deeply into it.

At least bullets have energy despite their relative softness, adamantium blades on hands are very very strong, but how can you get enough energy behind them to make use of that strength when they are on a feeble humanoid (relatively speaking)

As you can see, Mr.Wolverine can easily cut through all things metal regardless of the force required.

Here he is seen giving a Mk1 Sentinel a haircut. The Sentinel utilizies heavier grade steel than the crapmobile.

Here he has obviously cut up the Hulk. Which everyone knows has skin tougher than steel.

... and hulk is standing there smiling at the little wimp! Hulk Is the best! :P

Superman is better still :D

Problem with the Hulk is, all his clothes have torn, yet clearly his pants haven't. Again, more unrealistic comic book characters with realism issues, in this case to save him running around naked

At least Superman is realistic through being completely and utterly 'as if' :D

I had a few comic/annual things when I was very young with Superman in, I wish I could find them again and have a read as they were really good!

I actually have subscribed to Marvel so I could read incredible hulk issue #181 (anyone know the significance of that issue???). Unfortunately the issue won't load :(

So you want to see him with no pants? :o :?

:P :poke:

 I just knew I had left myself wide open for that one :D

Maybe he wears special stretchy pants, but if so, why not get special stretchy shirts, socks and shoes?
