Basic upgrades / mods for E89s

Afternoon Mr Wilks. I’m new to this site but soon to be a new Z4 35is owner. I’m keen in a few upgrades when I finally get the vehicle such as the black grills and exhaust tips. Can I ask where you got the tips from and who fit them as well as who fit the grills as I believe they are awkward. Also how do you rate the vehicle overall. I also live in Lancashire so the garage you use wouldn’t be a problem. Thanks

Exhaust modding go & visit Gaz at Zaustworx in Darwen , he knows the drill as he did both my 35i & 35is
Grills are not that difficult , hold up the new ones to know where the clips need prising , from memory do the top ones then the sides then bottom but others may have done it another way .

As for how i rated the 35is :cry: loved the adaptive ride which the 35i didn't have but the DCT just didn't do it for me on any level & no regrets selling the car , as a sunny Sunday treat car the manual 35i was far more stimulating & engaging .
Both examples were tweaked on the power to around 385bhp MHD flashtune on the 35is , traditional remap on the 35i , of the two i preferred the remap which was surprising as i hadn't really heard any negatives on MHD but the extras available as the licenced user were of little interest to me ( adding / removing pops & bangs , burble duration etc & having easy access via app to tweak & fiddle ) ultimately i felt the torque increase was more noticeable with the manual 35i , whether the DCT numbed some of it i can't say but i know for sure the 35i felt far quicker & sharper on the throttle response , its one of my 16 Zs i sold too early & one model i would buy again .
