Quick wash once the sun came out the other day. The green just pops once the sun hits it right! It has however also convinced me of the need for aero skirts… let the hunt begin! 8)

Looking fantastic in the sun Barty.

Good luck with your search for Aeros though as I doubt you will find any in the right colour! That's one advantage of Silver Grey.

Thanks [ref]Mr Tidy[/ref]! You’re quite right; I think it’s not just improbable but impossible to find them in green  That’s fine though, any colour will do; respray and onwards!

Silver grey is a lovely colour for the Zed (in reality, what isn’t?), and the red nappa seats you’ve got are an absolute dream combination. It’s actually still my desktop wallpaper at home…

It's a good combination but my ideal choice would have been Imola Red with Champagne or Light Sepang! But that could have been a long wait.

Hi mate, sorry for the hijack but I spotted the SZ again and had a chance to get a couple of photos 👌👌👌

Cool plate too 👀👀👀

If a car ever needed wider wheels this is it . I normally like Alfas but not sure on this one :?

Very nice! Looks like your typical winter setup. Summer sets on the SZ are usually quite pronounced 8) Nice spot!

I use to love the SZ but looking at that pic it's one of the only Alfa's that hasn't aged well... :( must be those wheels!

I thought I liked those Alfa’s but I think my memory was better than seeing one again, It looks like a walk in bath.

The SZ has always been a source of controversy. I personally like the radical design, but wouldn’t qualify it as beautiful. For that I much preferred my Rosso Competizione 159 Ti, the GT or the 147GTA.

To stick with the Z4 a bit in al this Italian madness: I’ve bagged myself an early birthday present. A new steering wheel! And not just any wheel, but a BMW Individual steering wheel. Should turn up in a day or two 8)

And these new alloys you keep teasing us with Barty! I need to see them on! :D

As do I actually  So much so that I’ve been discussing tyres with my local go-to guy today. Michelin Pilot Sport 4S, Pirelli P-Zero or perhaps Goodyear Asymmetrics… the latter seems to have quite the following on here I think?

Size-wise, I’m looking at 225/35/19 on 8.5J ET38 fronts, 265/30/19 on 9.5J ET43 rears. Any tips or pointers are always welcome, especially on the GY set. How does 275 on the rear perform on the Si: possible? Recommended? Feel free to shoot!

I've got 225/35/19, 8.5J ET38 on the front with 265/30/19 on 9.5J ET45 rears so slightly different on the rear ET to what you are wanting. PS4s all round. The ride is HARD, won't lie. But not sure whether that's more the fact the car is nearly 15 years old. I want to get the suspension refreshed this year as I think that will make a big difference. Although some of the roads aren't great around here.

PS4's for me; they're too good on the coupe. Having said that, I have 255's rather than 265's, so can't say for sure that they're the better option on 265s. Either way you won't be unhappy with the grip levels

Agree with dmo. The grip levels are the best I have experienced.

I read the autoexpress 2021 tyre of the year group test the other day and the new Hankook came top knocking the ps4s' into 2nd. Look a great all round tyre, especially if you daily the car with wet weather driving. Much cheaper as well. Worth having a read.
