Bargain of the week.

I was doing the usual trawling of ebay for Z4 bits last week and spotted these Ellipsoids with a couple of days to go. It got to the final minute and the top bid was still only £19 :o Put a cheeky bid in with 8 seconds to go and got them for £21
The description said they were both 8J but one is actually 8.5J so I have a spare for both front and rear :) I had to organise a courier, which was £20, almost as much as I paid for them
There's a few nasty curb marks but mine aren't exactly in great condition anyway.

I know Jeeper picked up his M exhausts cheap as chips, what other Z related bargains have people found?

I was watching those, just so I had a few spares, but didn't bother in the end :)

Glad you got a good bargain there... certainly need some attention, it's just getting them to a good OEM matching finish to match your existing ones that would be a pain...

About to start reconditioning mine, so will let you know on the 'oem' look of the Deutche silver I am using when I get one completed (which is apparently the OE colour/metallic to use)

Dave

I'll be trying to get a whole spare set together. Mine need a refurb anyway, so matching them isn't a worry.

Are you reconditioning them yourself?

I won this for £20, it was an ex-display wheel in a dealership, so its practically brand new, won it for £20 and collected it my self (handy to have as a spare) BPSIpcwBmkKGrHgoH-EEjlLlyKFGBJy5lBh.jpg

I picked up a MKIV DVD SatNav drive for £200, doesnt sound cheap they every other one I have seen went for over £300

On a smaller scale that those items above, i got a brand new Z4 keyring (the one we probably all have with the Z) for the grand sum of £2.75. the postage cost me more @ £3.00 !........

Ah good plan. I've seen quite a few going recently, in odd ones, or pairs, and very cheaply too!

Yeah, reconditioning myself, just testing paints/methods at the moment. Once I'm happy they will all get prepped and done.

I wish I'd just bought 4 new ones with Falkens when I got my car, since they were only £800 then (the wheels sans tyres), since I've spent £220 buying my 107's, and another £100 maybe in materials + my time, or maybe nearly £400 for a *good* recon if I went that route + costs... it's so close to just having had new ones dropped on my door step with tyres on (at the same cost I paid), ready to fit.

Dave

If you want to find the bargains, you need to trawl with multiple searches, ideally. But recently 107's seem to go cheap full stop. I got four in better nick than the above (ready to fit really + 'ok' but ready to swap tyres) for £205.
