Bargain Basement Boot Tray!

Thought I'd share this little mod with you ...

Having had plastic boot trays in all my other cars I was looking for one for my Z4 but they seem hard to come by or like the Weathertech one they are exorbitantly priced ...

Anyway I was browsing Home Bargains car section and found this tray for the princely sum of £1.99 ! A little mod to the sides and ta-da a nicely fitting tray to make sure the young-un's muddy football boots don't mess up the carpet !

About 50 times cheaper than mine:

Bargain, although a pair of muddy boots is probably all you can fit in the boot of an E89 :D

Mike

I know this is a favourite stick to bash an E89 with, and some times it's said just for a laugh, but last month I did a 2600 mile 14 day tour around Europe with a friend in my 35is and luggage space was no problem.

Two weeks worth of clothes, shoes and associated holiday gubbins whilst still being able to have the roof down on the French Riviera for the accompanying exhaust note is not too shabby to me. Yes, you need to put the roof up to get things out but that takes, what, 25 seconds?

Back to the OP, that's similar to what I've added to stop shopping bags sliding around. Except mine is two door mats sort of cut and stuck together.
