Bank holiday weekend

Working all weekend, long hours getting my new factory extension ready for opening Tuesday.

3am start to catch the dieppe / newhaven ferry on easter sunday followed by 5 hours drive north to be reunited with my Z which is tucked up on trickle charge , easter monday out in the ribble valley maybe over to the fylde if traffic permits ?

Hopefully around 400 miles, top down, in the MR & not even leaving Cornwall. :driving:[/quote]

My feelings perzakly its such a beautiful county.
A lot of cleaning for me cars and boat. Got to get her tidy for the new sailing season which will be hopefully be better than the last few. Its not warm enough for me to go surfing yet. Dont even think chicken, I used to go in all year round in baggies and T shirt in the best years for surfing 60/70's :poke:

Working Friday...then off for 4 days.
It's our 29th Wedding Anniversary on Sunday so taking "her indoors" out tomorrow to get a prezzie and then out for a meal.

Update drove down to Whitsand Bay, this afternoon and it was so cold I drove home again, without getting wet. I must be getting old too.

Hopefully a bit warmer Tomorrow, for us old timers. :D

Had a gig last night, cooking a swanky meal for my lady this evening, gig tomorrow night, old friends visiting on Sunday, family visiting on Monday, and got a cheeky day off to recover on Tuesday!

Going to be driving from Bournemouth down to Lulworth Cove, bit of a picnik and back again! It's absolutely stunning drive! Through swanage and all the old towns! :D

When you're retired every day is a Bank Holiday ....but without the traffic

Yep, agreed. I don't really like bank holidays since I retired last year, shops and services on reduced hours, roads full of towed caravans, even the TV seems to be crappier then usual if that were possible.

Planned was a canal boat trip from Ely to St Ives.
Actually spending it in Intensive Care ward hoping that my brother pulls through after suffering a massive stroke.

Thankfully I am not working over Easter. Have my German boyfriend over and have been doing some London sightseeing. Taken him for a couple of rides in the Zed and he seemed to like to push every button going..then managed to mess up my sat nav display but promptly sorted it out when I gave him the look! It's all good. Happy Easter!
