Banjo bolts on standard rear calipers?

Does anybody know if you can do a straight swop of our rear brake hoses to ones with a banjo bolt fitting? Any clearance or hose routing issues?

I can't check this on the car at the moment so any help would be much appreciated! Quite keen to get it right this time as I didn't switch to banjos when I upgraded my front calipers and hoses, and regretted it.

Just checked this myself - looks like a straight connection is the most straightforward. Even a banjo with an angle isn't going to clear the rear spindle, shocks etc as well.

Also spotted this lovely mess while I was under there, so that's another thing to sort now (diff input seal, I guess?)...

From what I can see it appears at least on rear E89 and F series 5 calipers the answer is yes…

I wasn’t sure but the copper washers either side of the banjo bolt seem to seal up ok..

yeah Banjo will fit fine, just make sure you get the correct size/length bolt.. i had to cut one down yresterday, its not a fun job. and use either loctite 567 or the permatex 59214
