Balls! Slow puncture on Potenza RFT

Two months into new Zed ownership and I've got a slow puncture on one of the rear tyres.
I had it go a little while ago, but when I checked the pressures they were a bit all over the shop, so I just refilled them all. Noticed there was no dust cap on the tyre that was going down.
Warning came on again a couple of weeks ago, so I refilled and vowed to get a dust cap on just in case something was causing it to leak out that way - hoping and praying.

Anyway, dust cap is on and this morning coming to work the light came on *again* :headbang:

I've just called round Micheldever tyres and Etyres; the former won't come out this far (Finchampstead) and the latter can't do today.

At this point it's looking more sensible to take a trip to a tyre shop to get it fixed - and if it needs replacing, I won't get stiffed for an overpriced Potenza!! (Etyres)
I'll probably fill it up and try to take a trip to Micheldever this afternoon if I can get the time out - question is, if it does need replacing, both the rears will.

Do I stick with Potenza RFTs at a combined cost of nearly £500, or stick a couple of non-RFT Falken FK453s on there and save myself a couple of hundred? :?

Good for getting shot of RFTs, bad for a month where I'm trying to save money!

The more I think about it, the more attractive ditching the RFTs is.

Blackcircles are doing Goodyear Eagle F1 Asymmetric 2's - if I buy a pair I get 1510 clubcard points :D

Ah well.
Took it to Micheldever Tyres. At first, they thought it was the split rims letting air out. Then they realised you can take the star out without depressurising the tyre, so they then took it off the rim.
Found a nail in the tyre, but also shoulder wear where it had been driven on in a state of deflation.

So £282 poorer, I now have a set of Falken 453s and my god the car is different!! Rides better, is quieter, bags more confidence ... much easier to drive fast! So not so good for my fuel consumption but it has made me love the car even more :)
