Ballast positioning for Xenons/HID

Just looking for a bit of advice on where is the best place to install the ballasts when installing a HID kit to a Z4 Coupe?

I am installing the kit on behalf of a friend and am wondering where is the most discrete position for the ballast to go that offers good protection from any damp yet can remain accessable should any tinkering be required?

Any advice or even better picture evidence would be fantastic.

Go for the slimline kit as you can install everything inside the light

I believe he has already purchased the kit, that being your normal sized variant, 6000k job, so I'm guessing the lot won't fit inside the light housing.

I would tell him to send them back and get the slimline set, less hassle than trying to mount the ugly ballast within the engine bay

Yep they are most certainly not the slimline kits that are available, chunky ballasts, allbeit not huge but still sizeable.

Any ideas on the best positioning if keeping them?
