Repair as soon as possible (minor defects):
Offside Front Anti-roll bar ball joint dust cover severely deteriorated (5.3.4 (b) (i)).

Where is this located, I thought the anti roll bar does not have a ball joint????( looked this up in the ZRoadster forum.

I think it’s just an MOT thing, they’re just telling you where the problem is. May not know that much about the Zed anti roll bar and its specific composition.

I think I’m right in saying replace both? When I do things like this, I’ll do both N/S and O/S to keep the car in sync.

There's a search at the top, you'll need 2 18mm spanners

Where in the country are you
GREAT!!! Keep in touch, come and see my cars, you will love the Triumph
Stag! Have a drive....perhaps we can help each other out. I am hamdy with a spanner, rebuilt the Stag myself. Just have not got the motivation anymore , hate working on my own on cars nowadays, but with someone else about I can do anything.

Rgds,

Me?, West London, Northolt near the RAF Station. UB5 Post code area.

Complete highjack - @singaporestag I’m only in Perivale! Good to know someone else is local

I am in Manchester and Cleethorpes so not close at all so can't help out much.

I need to order nearside one as well, but...........
Does the sway bar take the same size links for both sids or is one different from the other. Why is this advertised along with the one that I ordered which reads 'left and right', but shows the one in the below picture s well.

Photo above is for a rear drop link. They are the same both sides.

Fronts are handed. And they do indeed have ball joints.

Will these bushes fit the standard ARB E85 2006.
Rgds,
That picture isn't one powerflex currently sell.

I think the answer is "maybe" - or at least, you can't tell without more info - different models got different ARB sizes so you'd need to give more info.

That's an E89 for a start.

RealOEM says 24mm (31351094556) for standard suspension, 25mm (31351096365) if M Sport suspension. You'd need to use a VIN Decoder to work out what you have - but it's likely standard.

Thank you very much for your replies and help.
I am replacing the ARB links ( off side advisory, rubber disintegrating ) so thought might as well change the bushes to Polyurathane whislt at it. Also Brembo discs and pads front and pads rear. Change brake fluid and possibly brake pipes. Sigh!
Summer time the fun will start at least for my labours :) 8)
