Fellow Zed Quatro Enthusiasts...
I'm feeling a bit like a Bull in a China Closet here.
The homestead is rapidly filling up with a plethora of Christmas trinkets as SWMBO works her magic transporting the living space into her vision of a Christmas Wonderland.
Now don't get me wrong, I truly appreciate her efforts in making memories while awaiting the return of our now grown up children.
What I am reflecting upon is my guaranteed propensity to destroy her examples of supreme motor skills (ie in the manual dexterity dept.) with one ,
sometimes two (as my short term memory sometimes lets me down - call me a slow learner)
as I sashay about my now transformed living space !
I understand that youse of the overseas variety have preserved the liquid skills of your youth as slippery soccer (football) athletes.
But my dancing expertise appears to have eroded somewhere.
So I am more likely to 'target fixate, like a bull, and just do my clumsy best.

Now my point: ...(obscure as always)
What are my chances to avoid total destruction and end up in the Reindeer Stable over the holiday ?

Like I have already done this one :

And this one is waiting over the liquor cabinet:

This one is on the way to the Christmas Tree for Santa to brush by on his delivery :

This one is in the narrow hall leading to the front door... Do I need to bring your attention to the Three Wise Mini Mice balanced precariously upon the clock ?

Then there is this pending avalanche perched above the computer desk ! I liken them to vultures, hovering for their inevitable feast.

Tis the Season over here ...
I can't escape the inevitable ...
May as well pour me another pint so I can enjoy the moment

Cheers and best wishes your way

 Gave me a good laugh! Just move around the house with extreme caution and you'll be okay..........

Well Bumpy, I lived that life for a long time, smothered by Elves, reindeer and "cute " Christmas stuff. By Dec 15th I was po'd, by Jan 1st I was usually in the foulest of moods but I got over it. Sometimes the elves left a bottle of Bowmore under the tree, that helped... :drinking:
All I can say Is "Walk softly and be thankful that Easter is still a ways off.".

Man, that is a LOT of Christmas

Our decorations are not even out the loft yet. My advice - collect the bottle, a glass and a full ice bucket, take the comfiest seat in the living room and install yourself for the evening nice and early each day. No moving, no danger of breakage
