Badges on Zeds

hmm...

Now seeing these I wonder whether I should remove mine lol.

How did you guys remove your badges?

Hi the easiest way to remove is get a bit of thread and double it
Up and just tuck behind the badge and gently
Make a sawing action and the badge will come away
From the sticky backing with ease and no damage .

Then just peel of the sticky stuff and polish off job done .

Dewi it's a shame you only keeping for a short while ! It's looks so good in that colour
Let me know when you sell I might tempted to sell mine and buy yours !

Where did you get that black part on the side skirts ? I think that might look
Good on mine !

Are you running spacers on yours and is it lowered ?

It'll be around Sept at the earliest when I let it go, I'd like to have one more summer with what will be my last drop top car, but it's going to be hard to let this one go as it's a lovely thing with just 20k miles on it. The intention is to go back to something I can fettle with on my level - i.e something with carbs and a coil ignition - and something exempt from road tax! I'm retired and missing taking things apart like I used to.

The black stone protectors are smaller versions of what came with the car when I bought it, I remade them from some 3M carbon fibre vinyl I bought from E.Bay for about 6 pounds, they need re-doing really because they're not on straight :)

Spacers & lowered? No, everything is as standard - kiss of death, but there have been no broken springs yet and nothing accounted for along those lines in the car's history. I believe the 2.5Si uses lower springs than standard, hence why it looks a bit lower than an SE or similar. I am thinking of spacers though but to be honest I'm quite happy with how it looks now, it certainly gets some comments when I'm out and about. It's one of those cars that people look at as you drive past and when you look in the mirror most have turned around to watch the car disappear into the distance. It's quite surreal sometimes, there was a guy the other day crouched down picking up some dog poo as I went through a small village, he stopped doing what he was doing, still crouched down, and was having a good old nosey as I drove past - very weird! Had some nice chats in petrol stations too. It is a stunning looking car though, even my missus likes it!

Prefer De-badged myself !
I'd better not De-badge my Alpina though as Perry will send the Police round !
Nope, it's your car so if you want to de-badge, go right ahead, nothing to do with me - I'm anal about my car not other peoples'....

... just don't put ///M badges on it :poke:

I have posted in the buy and sell section, but I've just seen this thread.

Anyone got a spare 'i' badge from the side badges?

Would really appreciate it :D

Mine's partially de-badged as I found the rear a bit cluttered - just kept the badges to one side if I ever want to replace.

Looks like the previous owners removed the badges of the wings and stuck one on the engine cover.
