Badge or Debadge

So what does everyone use for debadging? What do you remove the glue with? Isopropyl alcohol?

nah - use cotton to take it off and then hot water with some car shampoo. Hold the sponge against the glue until its nice and wet then just rub off with thumb.

I've not bothered with the sides yet but will get round to it eventually. It creates a cleaner look IMO.

Also agree with the debadge with smaller litre cars, however the exhaust is a give away if that's the case!

My car came with the rear 'Z4' badge removed but the side 3.0i badges were left on. I quite like the clean look of the rear, yet the side badges still let everyone know I have the 3.0

I will probably remove the badges from both our cars later in the year for a few reasons.
The first being easier to clean and polish and the second to stop having to explain that a 23i is not a 2.3 litre engine and a 40d is not a 4.0 litre engine and the third they just look too big and out of place.
Keeping the rears though.
Shame the side BMW badges are not as easy to get rid of. I think badges on the front and back are more than enough.

Yes, still interested in before-after photos. I'm currently thinking about leaving the Z4 on the boot, but removing the wing badges.
