Badge measurements?

I picked up some new badges because the old ones were pretty faded, I took measurements of the trunk badge before I removed it and there is a difference between either end of the badge.
So I'm wondering if maybe this badge was put on by some other than the factory.
Does anyone have the correct measurements for the trunk ///M badge?
