Unbelievable how time flies when you're expecting a new family member, doing some renovations and looking for a new job...
Anyway, the TRIP! All went well, except that I really did not enjoy the low car on Italian roads, lol. On the way back home, I hit a plaster board on the highway, unfortunately not too much damage, but enough to need a spotrepair... Will have to get it sorted soon as the car will be on sale in a couple of weeks (looking for a spoprtscar with a backseat!)
So this was the trip we made:

It's been a while since I have been on the forum, but every now and then I take a peek
Sander is a little over 3 months old now and doing very well!
We first decided to sell the Zed as it is not really being used very often anymore (due to 1 baby and 2 dogs and only 2 seats). But with the lovely weather we've been having lately, I found it more and more difficult to accept the idea to sell the car, especially after all the work I've been doing on it... Also we are about to sign a deed to a new holiday home, so we'll need to be careful the next 2 years, nothing alarming though.
So talked it over with the wife, and turns out she doesn't really want to sell the Zed either, lol. So we decided to keep the car as long as we can afford it
So I'll be more often on the forum as well
Couple of issues with the car though: I think the front wheel sensors are gone as I get an error now and then, whilst everything is fine. Local BMW dealer checked it out and indeed, sensors need replacement. I've been getting an oil error as well lately, but only when I turn the engine of after a drive. As that doesn't make sense (oil is thicker cold and thus oil level error is more frequent on cold engine) at all, I asked the local dealer what the problem could be. They assume it's another faulty sensor... I also removed the FK springs as the ride was really, really harsh! So running 4x4 at the moment but will probably get it on coilovers before the next MOT.
Other than that, the car purrrrrs like a kitten!! Even being only a 2.2i, she still feels pretty quick and nervous.
