Bad misfire on Cylinder 2

Today, I took the car for a spin (I must admit that I blasted it a bit).

I went back home and while I was parked, with the engine still running, I noticed some misfires.
I stopped the car, took my OBD reader and could not see any error.
I took the car again for a short ride to see if the misfire was still there and it was still there, with a vengeance. The MIL light lit up in the middle of the dash (but did not show on the iDrive screen), as a warning.
Beyond certain revs./speed it is as if the whole engine judders/vibrates. I could clearly see something was wrong and went back home.
I got the OBD reader and now the car was showing the following errors:

2E19 DME: Firing, cylinder 2.
29CE DME: Combustion misfires, cylinder 2.

What could be the cause? Spark plug? Coil? An injector?
Any advice would be much appreciated.

First thing is to swap over the coil packs from another cylinder to rule out a coil pack fault, and also check the connections. Rescan to see if the number 2 cylinder is still misfiring

Thanks for the reply,
In terms of unplugging the coils, should I disconnect the battery, just in case?
It should not matter which one I swap with #2, shouldn't it? Say for example I swapped with #1 coil.
If the misfire is still on cylinder #2 after the swap, the next check will be spark plugs.
I hope it's not an injector...

You don't need to disconnect the battery. It does not matter which coil pack you swap over as long as you remember the number! If no luck, try swapping over the plugs. Make sure you reconnect the coil pack wiring correctly.
