Bad choice for personalized plate?

I saw this on car that was undertaking and overtaking me over the course of about 1/2 mile yesterday.
I can help reading it as 'turd', although I'm assuming it's meant to read b'stard

I hope I won't feature on a similar thread of rubbish number plates

They are so few short words ending with "urd" that it is hard not to read it as turd. That was the first thing I thought when I saw it.

maybe the car owner is a uro-gynaecologist? (a specialist in wee and c*nts for those not familiar with the medical fraternity)

"Oh no, now that you've got a BMW you're going to become an a$$hole"

My response

"No Peter, I'm already an a$$hole"
