Hi folks, '04 3.0i here.
As I'm a bit of a chav, i'm looking for some more noise for the zed. I don't, however, want to lose power. I also want it to be reversible (so whatever I choose, i'll get clamps made up so I can re-attach the original backbox). What is the best course of action? I've had a full cat-back on previous cars however this seems unnecessary on the zed as i'm guessing the standard system is pretty well engineered anyway.
I've read that a backbox delete could lose power, is this an urban myth or has it been proven, and is a sports backbox a way around this? My car is currently a daily driver however will be used less and less as the year goes on, and i'm planning on getting an aygo-type thing as a runaround. As such, noise or motorway droning isn't an issue, I just want it to sound like a straight six should!
