Two weeks of being back into Z4 ownership after 6 1/2 years without one!

Took three months to find a decent one and I finally found it right here on the For Sale section! 34,400 on the clock or around that by the time I got the car.

Paperwork arrived yesterday from DVLA.....

Silver Grey with all Black Leather. Originally Amarone coloured seats and doors. These were swapped to Black Leather as I couldn't have lived with the brown!
135 Alloys
Heated Seats
Hill Start Assist
Wind Deflector
Xenons
Auto Dim interior Mirror
Aux Point (standard)
Parking Sensors
Headlight Washers
White Indicators
Originally built on 6/5/2007

Car was eventually inspected by Rybrook Warwick BMW who advised that there was nothing at all wrong with the car and I'd be hard pushed to find a better car in the UK. Had everything checked that could be checked and it all came back good. Even received a £10 voucher from them for completing a telephone survey!

Really can't fault the car apart from a few minor cosmetic issues that will be rectified very soon. Drives very well indeed and averaging 36.6 mpg on the run back from Warwickshire to Scotland. Now getting around 28 - 32 mpg or less if I actually "drive" it! Every excuse is being used to get out in the car!

Speakers were fitted to the doors today and cabling professionally adjusted to make them work. Why anyone would spec a car without decent sound is beyond me! It's sounding better now but not perfect. Certainly acceptable though.

New interior Door Handles purchased from BMW Direct on Amazon will be fitted this week.

Next up the car will be going to a local detailer to remove some minor swirl marks on the bonnet and advise on a few stone chips. They will also look at a few very small scratches on the Piano Black.

Will also be buying some new mats.

Nice to have you back, has it really been that long :o

My local neighbourhood watch spokeswoman told me last week that it was 6 1/2 years since I traded the Z4 2.5 SE in for an Audi S3. It was actually 6 years 3 months by my count.

Must be true though as she's very nosey about everything going on and isn't actually in the neighborhood watch!

Had passed through here a few times over the years but mostly stayed on PistonHeads. It just wasn't the same!

Love this one. Kept looking at the advert. I am sure you've got a fantastic Z4 there.

Apart from the engine size it's the same as mine.

Nice motor and just needing a little TLC  :driving:

Very little TLC required as it's all very minor work required. Very minor scratches on the interior and the stone chips.

I kept looking at the advert too. Worst of all is I should have looked a the adverts on the forum 4 months ago!

Very nice :) i tried to get one in that colour but its so popular that they kept selling before i had a chance to view them. I went to see one at a garage and someone bought it over the phone as i was viewing it! :x got a black one in the end and well happy. Such a good car it puts a big smile on my face every time i drive it :driving:
