Back to the Z4

Hi All

I had a Titanium Silver '03 2.2 Z4 from new for five years and a great companion it was. Then I strayed from the fold :? . But a couple of weeks ago (and prompted further by the good(!) review on Top Gear) I put any pretence at 'finally growing up' behind me and got a Deep Sea Blue 23i. Really interesting seeing the differences between the two models I had. I'd say the last one was more edgy, basic and raw but on balance I prefer the newer one...it's cool that the two are different enough to spark debate...

I know what you mean. I wasn't that keen when I saw the publicity pics originally. I thought they'd 'softened' it too much. But seeing it in the metal - it's impressive.

I think the new one's going to be a grower on me too. I was seriously unimpressed with the first press shots but I'm coming around to the new looks.

I think maybe the initial press shots didn't do the car justice. Yeah, like the Deep Sea Blue and it really goes with the beige leather. I'm a happy Z4 owner again! :D
 
Welcome :thumbsup: finally got to sit in the new Z4 other week and must admit the seats feel very comfy and i liked the higher centre consul perfect for resting my elbow on
