Back to the Z (with pics)

Hello everyone, I’m new to the forum, but familiar with owning and working on the Z4 (E85).

I’m looking forward to get my old 3.0i roadster back tomorrow. I sold this one to a friend in 2017, now I’ve just bought it back! ….Plenty of love needed now, I’ll share my progress.

I’ll be enjoying driving it (just for the fun) whilst going front to back replacing / repairing / maintaining everything that’s needed.

I’m located in Hampshire, UK on the south coast. Wave if you see me! These pictures were taken some time before I sold it.

Hello and welcome
What you really mean is that you leased it to a friend for four years, I think that very generous of you :D

Thanks all and yes, leasing it for a few years is good way to look at it! :D

Great forum by the way, really good content (and knowledgeable people of course)!

Welcome to the forum, and welcome back to Z4 ownership.

And good luck getting it how you want it!

Welcome aboard,
My interpretation of 'lease' is "here mate, take my car, bugger it up and in four years time I'll do my best to get it back to what I had."
I wish you the very best and look forward to seeing how you get on.
I grew up in West Sussex so I know there are some good roads down there to enjoy.

Exactly!!!, it's not so pretty now, and two 'dings' from other people's doors  , which I need to sort. But it wont take much to tidy up. I pick it up later today, first thing is a deep clean inside and out - plus polish up the now faded headlights.

And given the way prices have been moving, you probably had to pay for the privilege :(

Seriously, good luck from another Hampshire dweller, albeit from the other end.
