Well there’s a turn up for the books!
I was happily making some dosh and working towards my 8 cylinder Italian red car when brexit stalled my predominantly French business.
Sold my yacht and my F-type to make ends meet and now after an empty garage for a year, I’ve picked up a lovely silver low mileage 35is from another Z4Forum member.
She’s been tastefully upgraded (not cosmetically) but the air intakes are not pretty and (imo) look pretty Heath Robinson and probably inefficient as the intakes are currently sucking in hot air.
The obvious but expensive solution is GruppeM Ram intakes But has anyone got any experience or bright ideas on which way to go?
Car picks and full spec. to follow after she’s been properly detailed.

Back in style, I guess a 35is will help to fill the gap left by the F-Type and the yacht :) :driving:
Looking forward to more pics after the detailing

What was the F-Type like?
Viceral and unpredictable. The torque was astonishing and the noise sensational. unfortunately the build quality had a lot to be desired and the experience / service from Jaguar and the dealer ruined my pleasure and I lost interest. It doesn't help whereby they have now made a mockery of the F-type by introducing a 2ltr option. It was bad enough with the 3 ltr - regardless of what the 'experts' say, the 3ltr is lacking in most departments and the noise sounded fake.
Having said that, I bought my 5ltr coupe r (originally £95k) for £65k at a year old. I sold it after 11 months ownership for £55k and I see you can now get a similar spec. / age / mileage to mine for around £46k, so you do get a lot of car for your money. However, they depreciate like a stone!
