i love that kind of thinking
& the way the window switches are hidden behind the hand grab on door ? brilliance or common sense ???
I still sit in mine in the garage every now and again![]()
I have come to love the functional simplicity of the Zs interior, but I remember being in an old boss' TT years ago when they were new and enjoying the feel inside.
They MK1,s are kind of unique but only now after spending some time behind the wheel can i see where the inspiration came from
IMO they modelled it on the Porsche 964 . . inside & out . The mirrors , the way the front & the rear form an arc as opposed to a wedge ?
The way it hunkers down the faster it goes is pure aircooled 911 behaviour & the feel inside the cabin really reminds me of my 964
