Well as a few of you are aware,i purchased these eventually last week

The back muffler has been taken off in the past by a previous owner, unfortunately for me the cut points on the pipes is different to the straight pipes, and the clamps in the pic are useless

Would the flexible type do the job,as I don't want to totally weld up in the first instance in case I want the back box back on

Should have this fitted Thursday :driving:

Good luck with getting it fitted! Look forward to hearing your feedback on it. Been toying with the idea of getting one myself but not sure if after a month, the novelty will wear off and that I would have ruined my daily

Well it’s fitted, raspy and she pops all day long

Need to bed the pipes in,to see how the sound develops

How are you getting on with that drone mate?
Does it sound much different on start up?

She purrs on start up and idle

Only driven for a few mile,u do notice the drone but u would do as it was muffled before

Need to get a few miles in the bag to give an honest comment on the drone

Read in a topic a guy cut the droning down by installing sound deadening material in the boot floor above the exhaust
