Back and poss looking for pre-facelift 3.0 Roadster, Coupe or MC

I may be returning to the fold.

If I do then i’d be looking for a 3.0, ideally with the following spec roadster:

- Unmolested (!)
- Sub 70k miles
- Manual
- Grey preference but open to options. Toledo Blue?
- 202 Wheels...or the other inner circle type (sorry, can’t remember wheel model). Or CSLs/VMR 710s
- FSH and stamps, obviously.
- Fully working roof motors.

Toying with a few options at the moment (including Si Coupes and MCoupes), but the above is a good start!

Thanks for reading and please PM me if you have anything that matches up and you’re looking to sell.

Hope the breadvan is staying.

Breadvan went today, Steve. Four glorious years; I just couldn’t justify the value, sitting in the garage doing nothing and needing to be driven more than the 500 miles a year I was adding. I became more and more worried every time I took it for a drive.

Want something I don’t need to worry about too much but that I can look after and have some fun in. Also looking at various other options of course. The search is part of the experience!

Oh no! But I can understand your concerns now that Breadvan values are where they are.

Surely an Imola Red Z4MC must be a good option? :)

Good luck anyway with whatever you choose - I'm looking forward to the photos, but it would be great to see one or two of the Breadvan!

Thanks all.

Yes it was a wrench but with increasing values I was just getting too nervous doing my 1000 miles a year. Still need my straight six fix, so time to find another contender for driving pleasure :)

Here are a few pictures from my final few hours with the breadvan for those interested.

Appreciate the heads up. She looks a great example; love those wheels. Think I’m after a manual though.

I wish these were cheap, our dog would have so much more space when she is dragged along in the Zed!
Looks great though op. Howcome you're not swapping for a z4mc?

Big :( :(

I loved that car. Must’ve been horrible not feeling like you could drive it.

Hope you find a replacement quickly, though the Yeti would be welcome at Brands, which we must do again soon.

Funnily enough when I was looking for the private reg pic last night I found this from our first run out in our ‘new’ cars iirc

I might be swapping for an MC. Haven’t quite decided yet. I’ve had two Z4Ms in the past. I’m at funds vs use vs man maths stage.

It was indeed a wrench, but was just the right time. New owner collects cars and is going to provide her with the vip treatment I never could  Yeti Brands session soon would be cool. Or if I move on a car soon (likely) then I’m even more sorted. Great pic and happy memories of a cool ‘new cars’ drive out to Battle (I think).

Nice to see you back mate- I’m sure you will find a nice car soon. The other wheel type you were looking for is 107. Good luck with the search.

Thanks Paddy

Well I think I have a car. And not one I expected, as I’ve gone full circle and bought myself an S reg 2.8 Z3

I think E36 Breadvan ownership got me hooked on the analogue and while not perfect (she’s close to 20 years old now), it will give me some nice jobs, as I set about sorting her out.

Thanks to all who contacted me.
