Back again with my 4th Z4 (E89 35i)

Hi Folks,

Been on and off this forum for a few years now. Just purchased my 4th Z4. I blame it on the G29 Z4 unveiling I went to a few weeks back.

Previous: E85 3.0, E89 35i, E89 35i, E89 35is (I never should have sold this one)

Current: E89 35i, space grey with black leather heated sports seats. adaptive suspension. sat nav. usb audio.

I decided not to get another 35is as I'm planning on modding this one (intake, exhaust, remap) to get similar performance. I'm also thinking about what to do with the stereo as it didn't come with DAB. Options are retrofit DAB, install an Apple Carplay module or replace the sat nav screen with an android screen.

Some pics from the dealer as they are better than anything I could produce.

You say you've been on and off here for a few years - I had to laugh when I noticed it's nearly 12 years since you joined! :lol:
 
Welcome back to Z ownership. I see your well into your 35's then. I'm on my first 35i and I'm loving it. so much so I've had mine mapped and it's now around 365bhp and goes like a stabbed rat lol. Oh it's also got a Milltek system on it so sounds mint too :thumbsup:

Milltek was going to be my choice too. I think I’m going to go to Evolve in Luton for a remap. First I want to sort the stereo.

Good luck with sourcing a Milltek system as I believe they don't do one anymore for the Z, I think someone on here even asked them directly to build them one and they refused for some strange reason.

That's a shame. did you have a second choice when you were choosing an exhaust?

Sorry I forgot to say the exhaust was already on mine when I bought it so must have been on it a few years now. I've only had the car 6 months

I must be one of the few that prefers them over the LCI version (I'm not a fan of the chrome). Although I have seen a car with matt black LCI indicators so I might do that.
