Hello!
Going to London with my wife for a week of work and take a small child. There is a need away for 3-4 hours. Prompt services in London, where can I order a babysitter for our child?

Thanks in advance!

The child snatcher ? lol londons a scary place - check with the hotel they may have numbers or even have a look in gumtree if its that bad.

Get picture of childminder before leaving. ensure that they have your number and you have theirs. etc......

What?! Sorry, London is as scary as anywhere else in the country that has issues with crime. Its like saying Glasgow is a scary place because everybody is drunk; or Cardiff is scary because everybody sings really loud! Ridiculous. I'm all for safety but if you go through a child minding firm or approved buisness you'll be fine OP. Maybe use google to find a place as I very much doubt many/any people on here will have used a central london service such as that.

Monday rant over.

No problem. They're both reputable, safe and with good options so you should find what you need there. Enjoy your trip to our capital

Cryme index:
London, United Kingdom 50.14
Novosibirsk, Russia 48.83
Cairo, Egypt 48.81

Novosibirsk & Cairo more safer than London???? :o :o :?

There's a difference between jumping a red light and murder.

Probably, I think in Cairo simply fail to register 80% of violations.
In our country we are also trying to reduce the number of official complaints to the police, that would not fall into such ratings.

In all seriousness I think you're right DarkBMW. Many crime stats comparison grids are flawed in their relevance and lack the true detail. Its a bit like those happiness scales they do country by country

There's a difference between jumping a red light and murder. not if you run into another car crossing at a green - that would be manslaughter.....

which is murder....

Yes London is scary but its no more or less scary than any other town. A bit of sensible thought and doing it the right way without cutting corners and you would be ok.

True. The fly in my logic ointment :)
