B800 Airbag Reset Tool

Recently I had an issue where my slip ring connections had broken, setting off my airbag light. After replacing the slip ring, I needed to reset the light, so thought I would trial one of the airbag reset tools advertised the B800 at £40 - it wasn't a cheap option (linky). However, I tried it a few times and found it does not work and the airbag light stays on.

I then used INPA, and reset it straight away.

Just in case anyone is tempted to purchase one of these tools...

There are a number of vendors on "the bay", and some also selling on amazon.co.uk - not sure they are all legit though! A quick google will show you the links
