B8 RS4 or S204 C63

Boss has an S63 with the same engine I believe? Its a lot more understated than the C63 by all accounts (no loud screaming exhaust!) but my god it shifts!

I’ll have to make a couple of drive by videos of my B7 with a GruppeM and gutted rear silencers

EDIT: holy thread revival + you bought one, so this is largely irrelevant now. In my defence i opened an old laptop that i've clearly not used for a month and had this thread already open. :D

I'm biased, but i'd go out and buy a C63 again tomorrow if i had more money lying around. I was very close to buying a black series.

Audi are fine, i had one on order. I've driven both models you mentioned:

Audi is a fast estate that has something special about it.
Merc is a batshit engine that happens to have an estate body on it.

Both have terrible fuel economy, but are both great cars. As someone else has said - i planned on owning the C63 for <1year, ended up having it nearly 2 - it's gone for two reasons:
1. two f**kwits crashed in to each other and then both slid in to stationary me... :(
2. I live in London and can't justify having two cars with a combined 12.2 litre capacity and 18 cylinders.

If we're going to be pedantic it should be 12.1 litres as Aston Martin commit the same sin as AMG by badging a 5935cc as a 6.0. The 63 is 6208cc so 12143cc altogether.

Either way, it's no joke drinking that much petrol! :driving:

It makes me feel efficient with only 14 cylinders, 7.4l and 760hp over the two cars currently at my house :)

yeah, 20 and 12.1 would be more accurate. Although Aston’s rarely seem to actually work properly so my original statement isnt that far off - albeit unintentional. think i was counting the current lot which now i think about it isn’t all that much better.
