Ok I'll admit it. I am Chief Hesitant when it comes to certain things. I've got all the suspension refresh parts in my possession, but no struts/shocks yet.
I've been going back and forth for the good part of last 12 months on this. I know for sure I do not want to lower the car, so coilovers or lowering springs + B8s are confidently out of consideration.
Then I was convinced I should go with B4s and saved up for those, but now I'm not so sure. I helped a local Z4 owner swap his OEM Sachs for B4s and honestly didn't really feel they were firm enough for me on sharp turns or rebounding from road bumps. So now I'm questioning my original decision. I take the Z4 out when I want to drive like a madman, so I'll take any suspension enhancement.
That leaves me with B6s or Koni Sports, both priced comparatively. I've installed B6s on many of my previous rides and know they will meet my requirements for firmer ride and better handling, but also don't want to snap my spine on every road bump. For anyone that owned Koni Sports (and maybe B6s), how did you like them and how do they compare to B6s?
