B12 Question

Wonder if anyone who has fitted a B12 kit can help me.

Lining the shock up in the hub seemed a bit ambiguous from the instructions to me. I took a quick look and drew a line down from the vertical line on the label and sat that in the gap. Revisiting the instructions it seems maybe I should have used the thicker L and R markings.

Should I adjust them?
 
Hi Steve I was told by a mechanic friend who fits these kits regularly that the thin line is what should be inline with the gap in the hub assembly
