B12 kit includes top mounts??

As per title, does the Bilstein B12 kit for the E85 Z4 include top mounts or literally just springs and dampers?

From all the research I’ve done, I’m 99% sure they have internal bump stops.

Last weekend I went exploring & underneath the plastic shield, couldn’t see any sign of the OEM bump stops... go figure that ;@)

Bump stops, dust boots, top mounts, top/bottom spring caps not included on the rear. Bump stops, dust boots and spring cap included on the front.

All I replaced when I fitted them was the bump stops as they were old/cracked, everything else was fine.

No, but you shouldn’t need to replace the stock ones unless you are going for adjustable top mounts (which is only worth it if you want to run more negative camber than what the stock mounts allow).

Ok thanks. Mines on 100k so was going to buy all the parts I need in case they are worn and then return the parts if not needed. So I don't need anything for the front. I've ordered rear dust boots (tube) and top/bottom spring caps but from the pictures I've seen and parts diagram I can't see that the Z4 has rear bump stops??

It has rear bump stops, they sit on the top of the dust boots and hit the top mount when they are used, see photo below. I don't see why you need new dust boots, they are plastic and should not wear, same applies to the spring caps really. The reason I replaced the bump stops was because they absorb shock and are in effect springs in themselves, when old they become hard and not at all springlike.

Brilliant, thanks a lot for that. Yes I'm hoping I won't need the other bits and they can go back but thought it's worth having them just in case. Car failed MOT due to blown dampers so not got much time to get kit, fit and retest within free retest period.

Did you get BMW bump stops? From what I can see they are £20 each, that correct? Surprised Eurocarparts haven't a cheaper alternative
