Axe EX14 Wheel Advice

Hey guys, looking to get my hands on some Axe EX14 Alloys but have become confused with the amount of options regarding offset.

I know a few people have these on their own z4, could I ask what set up you're using/what works best for an e85? Looking to stick with 18" due to comfort reasons.

Any tips on the best place to buy would also be super useful, thanks!

These are the ones from BM Autosport. Offsets are et35 front, et38 rear.
Find your originals' offsets, put both info into www.willtheyfit.com and it will show you the various differences.

Great thanks, how would I go about finding the offsets of my current rims? I bought the car second hand and it has some bmw replica aftermarket rims fitted at the moment

take a front and a rear off, it'll likely be stamped on the inside of the wheel, 8 ET50 or 8.5 ET42, something like that.

Most aftermarket wheels don't have this information stamped into them TBH, but it's worth a try.
OP. There are various internet sites that will show the factory wheel size options, specs, offset etc.

Your local BMW dealer should have the information somewhere, or contact someone like BM Autosport, they may even know!

There are also internet videos showing how to measure the offset of a wheel manually, but it will be difficult to get it accurate to the millimetre.

Those offsets of ET35 front and ET38 rear will be just about perfect, even with a 9" rim on the rear. The last two sets of staggered wheels I have had on my Z4 have been 18" from E90 3series with 8" front ET34 and 8.5" rear ET37. Not the best photo but these are my current Style 162 in these sizes/offsets. The outside face sits 13mm further out front and rear than most OEM Z4 alloys which are ET47 front and ET50 rear. Sonny, my Jack Russell likes them :D  20220830_154430.jpg
Also, this link is a useful reference point for all OEM BMW alloy wheels :) http://www.bmwstylewheels.com/

By the way, what is the splitter you have on the bottom of the front bumper? Looks nice

It's just a neoprene foam EZ-Lip. Not cheap for what it is but it's surviving really well, maybe 4 years now. https://ezlip.com/

Hi Matt, any joy in a solution? I’m looking at the same wheels but 19ā€ :D
Hi mate, not yet no, but given you'll be going a size up I imagine you'll need different size tyres and maybe even spacers anyway. I know there are a couple members on here with ex14's already but can't remember their usernames
