Managed to take some pics of my new wheels, Axe CS Lites 18", 8.5J front and 9.5J rears with Uniroyal Tyres 235 on the front and 265's on the rear.

Many Thanks to Mr Wilks for all his help !

Looking great  keep us posted on your thoughts on the tyres

No need for aplogies ben g, I'm 44 and have a bad back so the idea of lower the car and getting a harsher ride plus making the car a bit harder to get in/out of, just after ditching the god awful runflats ? not happening :D I like how the car looks and rides just as it is.

Forums are for opinions Ben so its good that we can all share them freely .
Whilst i agree some cars look great when taken down arch gap is only really noticeable when close up .
Recently clocked Zermatts 911 & check the gap above the tyres  close up you may say drop it but if the Porsche guys sent out that machine as it is then that for me is the height it should ride & whilst many would disagree i think ZMs on factory height are bang on

I find I only really notice the arch gap on cars when aftermarket alloys are added. Not sure why. A standard Z4M on standard 224's seems perfectly fine to me. Same goes for a 3.0 with silver 107's.

Mine looked like it needed lowering as the black 107's focused your eyes on the arch gap. Very strange I know
