19inch AXE GTS tyred up & fitted to ZMR

DLH - good work with the editing.

Love the first photo - shows the wheels off superbly - going to be interesting to see them with the new centres.

Standard sidewalls? The tyres look thinner on the 19''

:driving:

The rolling radius are as close to the M 18s as poss
its always hard when changing wheel size, widths & offsets to judge if there will be contact in the arches especially the fronts
Now on the car i could probably get away with a 40 front profile instead of the 35 i have & i could easily go 265 or 275 on the rears if needed which again would slightly increase the sidewall .
Happy as they are though & more important is the comfort & road noise/feel which is hard to tell apart from the standard M set up ive taken off

Lovely, just lovely  I'd have gone even darker

Problem with M size offsets are they aren't easily available in all styles/all finishes .
If i could have these wheels in the "frozen" black finish my powdercoater does then i would :o
Not wanting to wish bad on myself but if they end up kerbed thats what will happen
As ever from here on in i will be like a hunters trap for some shabby 19s with the right M offsets & widths to refurb

What rubber is on them ?

I thought it looked like vred sessanta at first glance.

I know my eyes are failing with age but looks like the word 'Uniroyal' on the side. Say it isn't so Mr W!

But that would mean the rears have different rubber, I thought they were Michelin on the rear ?

Anyway, I am having a moment. With BMW caps on they are going to look perfect 8)

Uniroyal RainSport 3 tyres Mr W was on about getting, apparently they are owned by Michelin :o , so for now your eyes are fine

Yes guys Uniroyal RS3 fronts / Pilot Sport rears
I was planning 4 Uni's but a tyre guy offered me the Michelins at silly money
Uniroyal are indeed owned by Michelin & made in their factories : getting great reviews & for now excellent prices
