Sorry for the dramatic title, but have you ever felt like everything is against you?

I have just started the process of my partner's visa which depends on my job earning a certain amount. Now my job is at risk which means that the 2k which I have just spent on the visa could be gone like a south park bank.

I am so annoyed as if this happened a month from now it wouldn't be so bad but this is worst timing ever.

Also this would be the third time in 14 months that I have been made redundant. (Each time with no payout due to being their less than 2 years!)

So screw it, life hates me!

Every time I think everything is going against me and my luck is down I think of that charity advert on tv about the kids starving to death or unable to find clean water , then I realise things could be a lot worse .
Pick yourself up , dust yourself down and keep moving forward , you'll be fine , your obviously very employable and willing to work .

Look at it this way, things can presumably only get better. Onward and upwards i say.

Take the car for a lengthy spin and just forget about all your troubles, though don't put it in a ditch or that would be bad :o
 
i think most of us go through rough times, be brave and you will survive (hopefully lol)
 
keep your head up mate. No problem stressing now when it hasn't happened, no point stressing if it does because you can't change it. There's always an opportunity in shitty news, sometimes you just have to have the strength to search for it. Hope it works out for ya
 
Chin up dude. Chap in here had a stroke, just turned 40 fairly active has a couple of young kids and is in a bad way. Puts things into perspective.
 
That's a sod - hope you get your partner's visa sorted - can well understand your frustration with that. :x

If they don't want you, you don't want them :) Onwards and upwards! Some guy that won some war or something said something like “Success is stumbling from failure to failure with no loss of enthusiasm.” ;)

Good luck with the Visa - sounds like a PITA!
 
Chin up dude, we're all with you.

3 years ago I was about to take a well planned retirement when I was diagnosed with cancer. I was pretty well convinced that my retirement was going to be fairly short but here I am 3 years later with the all clear and things are great. :thumbsup:
