holy moly..... nice to see the price right up high.... beautiful but basically this thing hasn't moved in all its years. i wonder if under normal use this car will throw up some ugly issues.... i guess not though.... beautiful!! id love this!!!

Very impressive low miles & it reminds me of the one I sat in at the London motor show back in 2006 it looks that clean...wish I had 30k to throw at it :driving:

Niiiceeee. do the seats look like sub 2k miles?!

yes definitely...... they imprint your bum marks from new really but looking at the matt colouring and bolster condition these look new tbh...

I know if you have the dosh spare to throw at something purely from an investment point of view then fair enough, but I mainly just think what a sad waste of a car! :-( it really hasn't been enjoyed with sub 2k on the clock.

Criminal! what on God's earth is the point of having a car like that and not driving it, cars are for DRIVING. If you want something beautiful just to look at, buy a painting! :?

Well, that is where we differ in opinion then … I have a car like that, my Golf MK1 clipper. No mileage, do about 200 miles a year and yes - I do have it to look at it like a painting. I don't really care about paintings to be honest, so I rather have my painting money sitting in cars.

The problem being as soon as you bang 25k miles on it, then the value will be down to 16k money - well unless you don't drive it! but that's another tried and tested thread :) - IMO over priced for the age, whatever the mileage is, as you would be put off from driving it

PS agree on the "what a waste" comment

Think outside the box: consider it as "interactive sculpture".

I totally disagree. It's great that there are examples of cars which remain in "as new" condition. Most of the Z4MCs produced have been used and suffer from "wear and tear" whereas this one will probably remain very low mileage for posterity.

I have a S54 Z3MC which I bought with just 3600 miles on the clock in 2003. I used to take every opportunity to drive it and put 12,000 miles on it in the first year I owned it and I've done hundreds of laps around The Ring in it. But the car is now relatively low-mileage for its age and in superb condition. I've put just 150miles on it in the last 12 months because S54 Z3MC has become very collectible and the car is insured for almost as much as this extremely low-mileage Z4MC presently for sale. I think the car is a thing of beauty, albeit, not to everyone's eyes, and I really enjoy having the opportunity of looking at it or driving it whenever I like (car not SORNed). So 2 years ago I bought my Z4MC with low mileage at approximately 50% of the value of my Z3MC to abuse when I want to drive a fast car. If I find the Z4MCs start becoming collectible, and inflating in price, I'll also stop driving this car too.

Would either of you (Geezah and Lynchy) just have continued driving the Z3MC and piled loads of miles on to that car, if you'd been in my shoes?

Interactive sculpture not being very interacted with. Absolutely agree that cars can be things of beauty but for me a big part of that beauty is it's 'Dynamic Beauty'. So me and Lynchy and Budfox are Bros on this one. Get in your car and drive!
